Hi! I’m Daniel, I’m 19 as of now and enjoy internet subcultures, playing league of legends, drawing, soccer and occasionally reading. I like to think about applicational mathematics and about ethics and other applied philosophy. I’ve got a Yorkie Terrier at home in Virginia, and I go to school at UIUC. In terms of personality, I would say I am somewhat agreeable, somewhat conscientious, and extremely pessimistic. I love yelling at people but only when they know its not serious. People should curse more, and be human and different with themselves. I have a couple of dislikes, namely most video media (anime/movies), overly complex systems that do not need to be complex, and using desktops.
One hope I have for myself is that I become good at something tangible, to show myself that I really have built something great. Sometimes all of this math and coding, which I am still mediocre at, appears like I’ve done nothing at all. I’m inspired by the song Rings by Aesop Rocky (recently discovered, by the way Oct 1 2026) to remind myself to stay grounded and not forget what I enjoy.
